What is Traction and how is it calculated ?

Table of Contents

Radarr uses advanced algorithms to bring to surface content that is truly newsworthy and gaining engagement so you can stay on top of conversations and trends online.

Traction, in Radarr terms, refers to the speed at which a post/mention is gaining engagement. (Likes, comments, shares and views)

The Traction Score is based on a proprietary algorithm that helps users identify posts and content that are gaining high volumes of engagement quickly. A post with high or low Traction thus, refers to content that is getting engaged with at a higher or lower speed.

The Traction Score is thus very helpful in helping Radarr users identify trending content as it calculates the speed at which users engage with a post, indicating its popularity.
